You can use makeup brush to reach the areas where it is difficult to spread the makeup with the finger or with the cosmetic sponge such as sides of nose, inner side of the eyes etc. You can dab the area with either the finger or the cosmetic sponge, the way you would like the best the area that is darker and do not try to rub the area, as the makeup that you have applied will be pulled off.
