I have been so enamoured in trying all of the latest moving mascara brands, that I almost forgot about one of my newer favorites. I started using Covergirl LashBlast last year, but it had sort of gotten stashed away. It wasn’t until I was subtly reminded again at how great this mascara is that it has been making it’s way back into my rotation.

Inspired by her grandmother, a former cosmetologist who blended her own creams using secret ingredients sourced in the Latin America, Hayek has spent the past two or three years researching methods and ingredients for a number of anti-aging products.

“I’m trying to develop a line with a drugstore so that it is affordable for everyone”, say Hayek. “My whole approach is how can we get the essence of the really expensive [brands], but for everyone to be able to afford”.
